Peter received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 1987 and his law degree from Emory University in 1992. After law school, Peter initially worked as a prosecutor in the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. After gaining valuable experience in criminal law, he decided to open his own law firm to protect the rights of individuals charged with committing crimes. For the past fourteen years Peter has represented thousands of clients in various types of criminal cases. Peter has successfully tried numerous felony and misdemeanor cases in both State and Federal Courts throughout the State of Georgia. He is passionate about fighting for his clients and is not afraid to take on difficult cases.
Peter is on the Board of Directors and is an honorary lifetime member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is also an active member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Atlanta Bar Association and the DeKalb Bar Association.
Noah received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 1992 and his law degree from Emory University in 1995. Noah started his legal career prosecuting misdemeanors in the DeKalb County Solicitor’s Office in July of 1995. A short six months later, Noah was promoted to a Senior Trial Assistant. During his tenure in the DeKalb Solicitor’s Office, Noah often handled many of the more complicated and higher profile cases that came through the office.
In 1998, Noah joined the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office. Noah initially started out prosecuting all general felonies including rapes, murders and armed robberies. Shortly after Noah’s arrival, he was asked by District Attorney J. Tom Morgan to join the Crimes Against Children Unit, an elite unit committee of three lawyers that exclusively handled cases of involving child sexual abuse, child physical abuse and child homicide. In addition to his courtroom responsibilities, Noah often gave lectures to police officers, doctors and other prosecutors in Georgia on several topics including: domestic violence, DUI, demonstrative evidence, child witnesses and testifying in child abuse cases. Additionally, Noah appeared on the ABC television show 20/20 as an authority on the subject of internet stalking.
In June of 2002, Noah decided to leave the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office and enter private practice. When Noah made this decision, he could not think of any better person to practice with than his long time friend and colleague Peter J. Ross.
Throughout his career, Noah has literally prosecuted and defended thousands of criminal cases. He has been lead counsel in over 100 trials, he has written over 40 appeals, and he has argued before both the Supreme Court of Georgia and Georgia Court of Appeals.
As a criminal defense lawyer, Noah handles all types of criminal cases, including juvenile delinquencies misdemeanors, felonies and asset forfeitures in State, Superior and Federal Courts throughout the State of Georgia. Noah is respected for his trial preparation and court room presence. He is known as a fearless trial lawyer who vigorously defends his clients. In recognition of his work ethic and trial skills, Noah was named a Georgia Super Lawyer by his colleagues for the past two consecutive years in the area of criminal law.
In addition to his practice, Noah is a board member of the DeKalb Bar Association and a member of the Atlanta Bar Association and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
Greg received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1990 and his law degree from the University of Georgia in 1993. Upon graduation, Greg immediately went to work for the Clarke County District Attorney’s Office in Athens, Georgia. As an Assistant District Attorney Greg handled all types of felony cases and was in charge of the Asset Forfeiture Division of the office. Eventually, Greg was asked to take over the “high priority” caseload, which included high profile cases such as murders, rapes, arson and child molestations.
In 1996 Greg left Clarke County and joined the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office where he continued to handle every type of felony case, including drug cases, robberies, assaults, child molestations and murders. In 1999 Greg was named Trial Attorney of the Year for his outstanding advocacy. In 2001 Greg was promoted to Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney and named Solicitor of the DeKalb County Juvenile Court. In these dual roles, Greg handled all cases of juveniles who were being tried as adults for the crimes of murder, rape, armed robbery and voluntary manslaughter and he managed an office of twenty-one people who handled thousands of juveniles cases a year.
In January of 2006 Greg was hand picked to join the firm of Ross & Pines, LLC. Now, Greg routinely handles all types of criminal cases including asset forfeitures, misdemeanors, felonies, juvenile delinquencies, drugs, sex crimes, assaults and murders. Having handled thousands of criminal cases and having conducted over 180 jury trials, Greg’s trial experience and knowledge of the criminal justice system makes him an invaluable asset to the clients he represents.
Throughout his career, Greg has been asked to speak at schools and universities, on radio and television programs and to other lawyers and members of the criminal justice system. Greg is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, the DeKalb Bar Association and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
